God spoke to me back in 2018 on the Repairer of the Breach. God gave me the word restorer, as in restored into the purpose of which it was created. He called me to be a Restorer and gave me a call for others. Quite honestly, God often gives me pieces of a picture, usually months or years ahead of time, and I don't always know what to do with those pieces. Today during my prayer time, the Holy Spirit led me to look back to a particular set of pages in my prayer journal and I felt impressed to share the words the Lord gave me, as the time is NOW.
This is a letter to the Restorer. What is the Repairer of the Breach. The Repairer of the Breach is one who is called to be a watchman that will intercede on behalf of God's people, preach and teach the word of God in the fulness of truth and be dedicated to restoring the body of Christ to God's original purpose, that we would be a bride holy and without blemish. Some of the scriptures that I can think of that points to the Restorer are Isaiah 58:12 and Nehemiah 4 (Please read). God has chosen specific people with specific gifts for different purposes within the body, so that when we work together in UNITY all the different parts will make the whole body strong. I am not putting the Restorer before any other gifting or calling, but I can only speak on what the Lord has given me for my area of calling.
Strongly the Lord has written these words upon my heart, even NOW more than ever:
- God is calling those that are the Restorers to walk in holiness and purity. While all believers should be doing so, God has called the Restorers to be as priest, in the same manor they are called to live and stay holy according to Leviticus 8.
- While the veil has been broken, it is the Restorers job to pray and seek God on behalf of the body of Christ and the world. This means we cannot indulge in things that others may be able to indulge in. We have to be of sober minds, enabling us to hear clearly from God.
- There are different Restorers/Intercessors God has called for certain regions, so we must always have our ear to God, seeking His face to know where He has called us at the appointed time.
- God is indeed doing a new thing. Do you perceive it? Do you see it? Do you hear it? Do you smell it? The time is NOW, so "Awaken oh sleeper and arise" (Isaiah 26, Ephesians 5:14).
- Let us intercede for the body of Christ that we would turn from the things of this world lest we become like the children of Israel, stating "it would have been better if we died in Egypt."
- Remember the promises of the Lord and walk in the covenant of God that we would lay hold of the Promise.
