We all want to comfortable right? But what happens when God calls you to the place of discomfort to push you forward into Him and all He created you to be? What happens when you have a Job type experience and you are doing all the right things, but things still aren't "looking" how you thought they would look in the time you thought they would? What happens when God calls you away from the norm and tugs on you to refocus your attention to him? What happens when you hear from God about everyone else, but you are not getting the answers you want? Really?!?! Let's talk about it!
These are questions I have to ask myself quite often these days. This will probably be the roughest draft ever, so let's just call this a journal entry not a blog post!
God has told many things about my life, purpose, and promises. Some of these things I've known since I was a kid; I just had to be reminded of them.
I also remember when 'Oceans' became my anthem. I remember how a year later God told me what He wanted to do in our (my husband and me) lives, no man would get any glory. When He does what He will do no one will be able to deny it was Him. So my husband and I started realigning our lives to do all the Lord had spoken to our hearts. We were stepping out on faith, ready and willing to risk it all to make His name great! But were we really ready to risk it all???? Are we risking it ALL?
I have had so many questions in my head and in my prayers that finally I told God, "This is uncomfortable, and I'm ready to be done with this! I know what I said, but I didn't know You meant like this!" Look, God and I have real talks!
To be continued...
