I find it funny what lessons you can learn from watching cartoons. One night while watching the Croods, it was like a light bulb of revelation clicked on. And although I've seen this movie before, it was as if it were my first time. Synopsis on the movie: There's a family in prehistoric times that is the last family on earth as far as they know. They stay alive by living in fear. They never try anything new, always go into the cave before dark, never go anywhere new, and don't enjoy life. However, one of the daughters wants more out of life and to

know of all things new. In her rebellion towards her father and his rule, 'fear everything', she gets her family into some trouble. Her family goes on this journey to find a safer place with this guy she finds. Throughout this journey her family, with the exception of her father, starts realizing all the life they've missed out on due to fear. Thankfully by the end they are all enjoying life and the new found world around them.
Too many times we allow fear of the unknown, doubt that we'll succeed, fear of failure and everything else connected to fear stop us from fully living. Who wants to live just enough not to die? While I do believe you should use wisdom when taking risk, you also have to use faith. Fear is like a prison cell. No matter how many pictures of family thou put up or how pretty you try to decorate it, it is still a box holding you in bondage. Sooner or later you are going to want your freedom! Fear will make you bitter, jealous of those living life, a negative nancy, and will drive you crazy with anxiety. All of these things also wears on your physical body and appearance.Get out the box of fear today and live life to the fullest! It's freeing and makes life sweeter!
